Sakhisizwe Youth Development Program is an after-school initiative in Imizamo Yethu, Hout Bay, offering mentorship, academic support, and healthy living through sports and life skills workshops. The program emphasizes spirituality and creativity, aiming to empower young people holistically with life skills that help them make conscious decisions and unleash their potential to live life to the fullest.
The program's mission is to ensure that young people stay in school and graduate, while being fully prepared to succeed in their next phase of life. Activities include reading groups, fitness sessions, buddy maths, sports, swimming lessons, life skills classes, recycling initiatives, and creative arts programs.
